The Indiana Department of Transportation and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet are committed to improving the I-69 corridor by constructing the I-69 Ohio River Crossing (I-69 ORX).
Work is underway on the Kentucky approach with improvements extending from KY 425 to US 60.
Construction on the new river crossing, a bi-state project, is expected to begin in 2027.
Work is underway on the Indiana approach to provide all-weather construction access to the Ohio River.
