Crews are building a new overpass in the area
Lane closures are expected next week on KY 351 at the US 41 overpass as crews continue to construct a new overpass bridge in the area as part of Section 1 of the I-69 Ohio River Crossing.
Drivers should expect a single lane closure on US 41 at KY 351 on Monday, Sept. 11. One southbound lane is expected to be closed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Overnight closures will follow on KY 351 and US 41. The closures will reduce KY 351 to one lane in the area, with flaggers in place to keep traffic moving in both directions. Southbound US 41 will also be reduced to one lane at the overpass. Expect the lane closures between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12 – Thursday, Sept. 14.
With the needed demolition work, there will be associated noise in the area. We ask for patience from people in the immediate area. The work is happening at night to minimize impacts to motorists and to get the work done as quickly and as safely as possible.
Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen activities occur.
