KY 351 reduced to one lane with flaggers in the area
Lane closures are expected overnight this week on KY 351 at the US 41 overpass as crews continue to construct new overpass bridges as part of Section 1 of the I-69 Ohio River Crossing.
Overnight closures are needed on KY 351 to accommodate the work. The closures will reduce KY 351 to one lane in the area, with flaggers in place to keep traffic moving in both directions. Expect the lane closures between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2 and Thursday, Aug. 3.
With the needed work, there will be associated noise in the area. We ask for patience from people in the immediate area. The work is happening at night to minimize impacts to motorists and to get the work done as quickly and as safely as possible.
Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen activities occur.
US 41 Lane Closures
Lane closures are expected to begin on US 41 in the same area later this week. Drivers should watch for single lane closures on US 41 northbound from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The closures are scheduled to begin Thursday, Aug. 3 and continue through Friday, Aug. 11.
Closures will be in place, as needed, during those days and times to accommodate work in the area. Drivers should slow down, watch signage and obey the posted limit in the construction zone.
