Project Overview

The Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS), as required under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for large, federally-funded projects like I-69 ORX, was published on December 14, 2018.

The DEIS is a tool for decision making. The information gathered will allow executive leadership in both states to make an informed decision to deliver I-69 ORX.

  • Public involvement, including opportunities to participate and comment
  • Documentation and disclosure

  • Develop a solution to address long-term cross-river mobility
  • Create a cross-river connection that reduces traffic congestion and delay
