PUBLIC MEETINGS
Educating residents and collecting public input is very important for the I-69 Ohio River Crossing project. The Project Team is hosting several Community Conversations and has hosted three public open houses at key project milestones to keep the public engaged and to gather public feedback.
Public Open Houses
- January 2019 – DEIS Public Hearings
- February 2018 – Preliminary DEIS Alternatives
- July 2017 – Screening Report
- April 2017 – Public launch of branding, goals, and proposed purpose and need statement
Meeting Format
Each round of public meetings is held in both Henderson and Evansville. The agendas and formats for these meetings are identical, assuring that the public receives the same information, regardless of which meeting they attend. Each meeting is held in a public space that is accessible, near a public transit route and provides free parking.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons with disabilities requiring assistance and/or accommodation related to accessibility to project documents and/or participation at public meeting venues – or those who represent them – are encouraged to contact the ORX Project Team at 888-515-9756 or info@I69OhioRiverCrossing.com.
