New US 41 Overpass Bridges at KY 351
I-69 ORX Section 1 includes numerous roadway and bridge improvements. Nine new bridges are being built and seven bridges are being rehabilitated as part of the new I-69 in Henderson. New US 41 overpass bridges are being built at KY 351. The new bridges are being built at the same location, with the bridges remaining open to traffic throughout construction. Construction started in early June 2023 and is expected to be completed by Spring 2025.
Improvements include:
- The new bridges are being built at the same location.
- They will remain open to traffic as the new bridges are built.
- This is possible through phased demolition and construction.
- The new bridges are being built in three phases.

- Southbound traffic has shifted to the new lanes.
- In phase 2, crews are building the new southbound bridge.
- Traffic will move to the new southbound bridge.
- Crews will complete construction on the new northbound bridge.

KY 2084 Interchange Now Closed
The KY 2084 northbound on-ramp to US 41 and the US 41 southbound off-ramp to KY 2084 closed November 2024. These are permanent closures. The KY 2084 and KY 351 interchanges are in too close of proximity to meet interstate standards.
